About me

Hi, I’m Esther Verhoef. Under the alias Stouthandel I make editorial illustrations and infographics. I love to combine digital and analogue techniques.

In the fall of 2020 I lost my heart to motion design and animation. Since then I’ve been busy developing myself as a 2D & 3D motion designer – which is why I’ve temporarily stopped making illustrations.

By the way, Stouthandel is the maiden name of my great-grandmother, Mensje Stouthandel. Because this name expresses both playfulness and reliability, I’ve chosen it as my company name.
